To our Customers,
For 55 years, Highway Auto Rockhampton has been a part of the Rockhampton community, this is where we operate. We feel a deep connection with our surrounding neighbourhoods because we’re a part of them too.
Given the unfolding COVID-19 situation within Australia and around the world, we wanted to update you on the measures we have put in place to protect our staff, customers and the wider community.
Our first priority is to protect the health of our people and customers, while remaining open for business so we can continue to support you through this unprecedented period.
We are closely following advice from Federal, State and Territory governments and the Australian Chief Medical Officer to keep our people, customers and workplaces safe
HIGHWAY AUTO RESPONSE
Following the measures announced on Sunday by the Prime Minister, and subsequent announcements from each State Premier and Chief Minister, we can confirm that Highway Auto will remain open. We will continue to follow the advice of the relevant authorities and share updates with you as required.
We’re taking extra precautions to ensure our offices and service department and your cars are hygienic spaces for everyone.
Our workshop has vast spaces, so we are fortunate to work in an environment where we can maintain social distancing. We have implemented rigorous daily cleaning and sanitising practices for our entire facilities, including high-touch areas like door handles and counters. We are offering hand sanitiser, tissues and handwashing facilities for our customers. We also ask that you respect the guidance and any signage or direction from staff when visiting us.
We have no team members that have recently returned from travel or fall into other risk categories as defined by medical authorities.
SUPPORTING YOUR NEEDS DURING THIS TIME
• Keeping open. While we are permitted, we are committed to supporting our customers by remaining open for business. Our team is ready to help you in person or over the phone.
• More assistance for those who choose to stay at home. Where it is safe to visit your home, we can offer pick up and drop off services for your car for any service or maintenance appointments. All vehicles will be disinfected before they are returned to their owners.
