Get That New Car Feeling, Save on Fuel Costs

The Tune-up process begins with an electronic diagnosis, identifying the engine and support systems that have worn or else drifted out of adjustment.

Let's dismiss the myth that a Tune-up is the wave of the magic wand because each vehicle is an individual case and at Highways your car will be carefully inspected and diagnosed to discover just what needs to be attended to and returned to manufacturer's specifications.

When the diagnostic test results are in we do a costing and contact you for approval. We are happy to SMS or email pictures of any parts we reccomend for replacement. The price we quote is the price you would pay.

Why do Injectors need to be cleaned and serviced?

Every time you stop a hot engine a small amount of residue adds to the already present build up in the injectors. The more frequent the stops, the more rapidly the build-up accumulates. This accumulation eventually reduces the flow of fuel through the injector and disrupts its spray pattern, causing the engine to run lean. This can manifest itself in a number of ways, although the most common is driveability problems such as flat spots and hesitations.

Combustion Begins At The Spark Plug

The service life of spark plugs in modern engines is a lot longer than in the past. The service schedule for many vehicles these days won't include a fresh set of plugs until 100,000km or more. Changes to fuels and improved plug materials have had a significant influence on plug life. However you can't expect like new power response on 100,000K spark plugs. Have your spark plugs replaced every 100,000km. or sooner and enjoy renewed power and performance.

Your Car's Engine Deserves Quality Maintenance

Every vehicle needs a quality tune-up. No matter if you drive the latest start-stop technology or a classic collectable, regularly scheduled engine maintenance is key to helping extend the life of your vehicle, maintain fuel economy and prevent major issues from occurring down the road.
